Erasing

Erasing

In the previous lesson, we used cut to remove a fragment of a shape. When we want to remove strokes directly from a drawing, erase mode is a better fit. Press e to enter erase mode, then move through heavy strokes to remove them. Press Escape to return to navigation. Erasing affects shapes only.

This still needs a small polish pass. Enter should also exit erase mode, just as it does in other modes. We should also mention that Space switches to draw mode, so e, Space, e, Space can be used to move back and forth between erasing and drawing.
